It’s come up in conversations with our friends at various points in our lives, but usually through jokes or ridiculous theories. This probably comes from a place of uncertainty and skepticism. Although most people are skeptical of the idea, many scientists are convinced that there is indeed life apart from us in the universe. It may not come in the form of little green humanoids with large eyes and big heads, but life itself comes in many forms. Here are some interesting reasons to consider that probably proves alien life exists out there:

1. Alleged sightings and personal accounts

Probably the biggest and most popular indication that alien life might exist is the abundance of reported sightings of unidentified flying objects, commonly known as UFOs. People from around the world claim to see strange things in the sky thousands of times a year, making it a huge phenomenon. Undoubtedly, most of these reports are probably not accurate at all due to people’s desire for attention and fame. Nevertheless, if we can all agree that even a very small portion of reported sightings are authentic, that’s still probably thousands of accounts. They can’t all be fraudulent, right?

2. Space rocks

Evidence of alien life has actually fallen from the sky ready to be analyzed in the form of asteroids, meteorites, and comets. These space rocks bring along with them microbial evidence of lifeforms in space. Although they’re small and not as exciting as human-sized alien life that most people want to know about, to scientists this is a breakthrough in learning more about what’s out there.

3. Ancient evidence

We use ancient artifacts and art that we find to put pieces of our history together. The ancients are known to have told their stories through their art and writings. With the discovery of drawings that depict astronaut-like or alien-like humanoids, it changed our understanding of what might have happened in the past. Theories have been going around for many years discussing intelligent extraterrestrial beings who’ve helped influence the development of technology in the ancient times. This would have aided our ancient ancestors to build their huge monuments like the pyramids and large temples that were so precise. Of course, these are just speculations, but it’s something to think about when examining these ancient drawings.
