The Reasons Why Alien Life Probably Exists Somewhere Out There: Part 2

The discussion about alien life is very prominent in our lives. As human beings, we’re curious by nature, but we’re also skeptics on a cautious pursuit to find the truth. Are we really alone in the universe? If you’ve missed part 1 of this discussion, feel free to go read it! Here are some more reasons why alien life probably exists somewhere out there:

1. Water is key

As we already know, water is key to the existence of life. When we found out that water is actually quite common in our solar system, it made us think a little more about what could actually exist out there. Planets like Mars and Venus have evidence of liquid water has been flowing in their core at some point in time, as well as some moons. Could there have been any life in these planets and moons? Is there still some kind of life there now? It’s very encouraging for scientists and researchers since it’s stepping in the right direction for more interesting discoveries.

2. Other lifeforms

Our technology and science can really only uncover any life that meets the same requirements as the living things here on Earth. That said, it’s very possible that there are lifeforms out there that thrive in different conditions that aren’t obvious to us. A lifeform is defined as any living thing, so even microbial organisms fall under that category. Even though they’re not the aliens we’re used to seeing in movies, if these microbial lifeforms exist, then it could be an indication of something else.

3. We can’t be the only ones in the universe!

Of course, there’s no definitive proof that there is life beyond here on Earth. What we do know, though, is that the universe has trillions of stars that house numerous planets. There must be at least some of them that have gone through what Earth has gone through to develop life. This isn’t so much of a direct reason to believe that alien life exists, but it’s something to get us thinking about it more. Perhaps it’s the hope that we aren’t actually alone in the universe. This is a concept that keeps us going on our journey to find out if, in fact, we are alone or not.

We hope we’ve encouraged you to further your own research into this touchy subject matter and find your own truth. Whether or not aliens do actually exist, we can agree that we’re closer to finding out than ever before.
